Maryann Nagel @cting
Maryann Nagel is a degreed actress working professionally out of the Cleveland area. She is passionate about teaching students of all ages to explore, experience and carry on the art of acting. She'll be teaching the following classes at the studio. Acting Club 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday Students in 5th through 8th grade will study the basics ‘tools’ , language, and techniques that actors use including improvisation and scene work. Fun and inviting class for anyone interested in exploring the world of acting in a safe environment without a major performance. Acting & Audition Technique 6:00-7:00 PM Monday In addition to the foundation of acting technique in this class students ages 14 through adult will work on the audition technique of how to get the job and find material for future auditions Private Sessions (by appointment only) College Audition Preparation Coaching the high school Senior that wishes to audition for either theatre or musical theatre. Finding the right monologues (classical and modern) and the correct songs ( ballad and up-tempo) for college auditions Acting for Singers Individuals focus on the song, coached as a monologue and delivering the piece on stage. This type of coaching is ideal for a student who is playing a major role in their high school, college, or local musical production. Acting for Dancers Individuals work on the ‘story’ behind the movement to enhance performance on stage. Appropriate for any serious dancer working on their craft. |
